Melissa Harrison is a freelance journalist based out of Washington, D.C.
She has interned at CongressDaily, where she helped cover Capitol Hill and the 2008 election. She has also worked for AOL’s PopEater in New York City, NBC 7/39 and KPBS News in San Diego, and The Press-Enterprise in Southern California.
Melissa has been published in National Journal, OC Weekly, Newsday, Spinner, and SXSWorld Magazine.
She is a graduate of San Diego State University.
